UK Manufacturing and Local Supply Chains

LINIAN products are designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK. Manufacturing locally supports British industry, creates employment opportunities and helps maintain a shorter supply chain.

By manufacturing closer to our UK customers, we can reduce the distances products travel compared with longer international supply routes. This can help reduce transport-related emissions, although the overall environmental impact depends on the full supply chain.

Supporting UK manufacturing is one of the founding principles of LINIAN. We are proud to contribute to local industry while developing innovative cable fixing solutions for electrical installers, wholesalers and specifiers.

Recyclable Materials and Reduced Plastic Waste

Choosing materials carefully is an important part of designing more sustainable cable management products.

LINIAN metal cable fixings use steel, a material that can be recycled where suitable collection and recycling facilities are available. Our fixing designs also eliminate the need for separate plastic wall plugs, screws or resin anchors in suitable applications, helping reduce the number of components required for installation.

Fewer separate components can mean less material to purchase, transport and dispose of. By simplifying the fixing process, LINIAN helps installers work more efficiently while reducing unnecessary materials on site.

Many LINIAN fixings can also be removed and reused where the product, condition and application permit. This can help reduce waste when installations need to be adapted or cables need to be repositioned.

    Recyclable Packaging

    Sustainability extends beyond the product itself to the packaging it arrives in.

    LINIAN moved its cable clip packaging from plastic pouches to cardboard boxes made using recycled materials. The packaging is designed to be recyclable after use, helping reduce reliance on single-use plastic packaging.

    The box format also supports more efficient storage and can reduce the need for additional packaging materials during handling and dispatch.

    It is a practical example of how we continue to look for ways to improve our products and the wider installation experience.
