Scotland Build 2019, now in its fourth year, is Scotland’s leading and largest construction show dedicated entirely to opportunities in building, construction, architecture and design across Scotland. The two day event, which will be held on the 20^th and 21^st of this month, will be hosted at the SEC Glasgow. Attendees include Scotland’s main contractors, architects, civil engineers, developers, local councils and construction professionals. It also includes some fabulous networking opportunities including the Builder’s Breakfast, Women in Construction, Passivhaus Trust and Future Generation of Construction. We are delighted to announce our Sales & Export Director, Lynne Jhangeer, is now a Women in Construction Ambassador. Lynne joins a team of well-respected and experienced women – all currently working in construction. Lynne explained why she is happy to take up the WIC mantle: “As a woman who has worked in the construction industry for many years, I’m a huge champion of gender balance, diversity and equality both within and out with the construction industry. I’m really looking forward to being part of the networking event on the 21^st March – working alongside like-minded ladies who want to share their experience with a view of fostering a new generation of female ambassadors.
