LINIAN Shortlisted: Sustainable Packaging Project of the Year

LINIAN is on the shortlist for the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2022: Sustainable packaging project of the Year.

The Made in Britain Impact Awards celebrate Made in Britain members' hard work, achievements, and sustainability journeys. The awards recognise sustainable initiatives, leadership, employee engagement, innovation, projects and packaging. This Year, we upgraded the packaging for all our cable clips (120 varieties) from single-use plastic pouches to recycled and fully recyclable card boxes. We developed the packaging in collaboration with special packaging and design partners using recycled materials produced here in the UK.

Key features:

- Made from recycled materials

- Fully recyclable ♻️

- Made in Britain (minimising carbon footprint)

- Informative and easy to use

- Future proof

In addition to the eco-friendly material, the new design is easy to use, takes up less storage space, and requires less outer packaging, postage materials and transport logistics. Since we launched it in April 2022, the new packaging has proven incredibly popular with installers. Now, it has been recognised by Made in Britain for its Impact Awards.

The Made in Britain team said, "We were sent an incredible number of inspiring stories about companies and individuals doing amazing things with a focus on sustainability in each of our seven categories. Our judges have enormously enjoyed getting to read through all the submissions we received. It was a tough choice for our judges to narrow down the entries."

In the Sustainable Packaging Project category, LINIAN is up against some stiff competition from PVA Hygiene Ltd and Packaging Products - an actual packaging manufacturer (eek) and fellow Family Business Of The Year 2022 nominee.
