LINIAN develop partnership with University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School

LINIAN is delighted to be working in partnership with a team of research students from the University Of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School to collaborate on various International Management Solutions (IMS) projects in the coming year. Founded in 1451 the University of Glasgow is the fourth oldest University in the English-speaking world and the Scottish University of the Year 2018. The University boasts alumni including Adam Smith, who is recognised worldwide as one of the most influential figures to emerge from the Scottish Enlightenment and the field of Economics and whom the Business School has been named after. Working on these IMS projects will harmonise the values of both LINIAN and the University that Glasgow is a place that inspires ambitious people to succeed. A place where inquiring minds can develop their ideas. A place where people make discoveries that change the world. As the world’s requirement for compliance and regulation within the Fire and Electrical installation sector intensifies this has enhanced the demand for LINIAN Fire products on a global scale. One of the objectives for LINIAN this coming year is to secure partners in all territories who recognise the many features and benefits of the products to provide a comprehensive, universal solution. The team: Rujaporn Jansiripotha (Thailand), Hang Zhang (China), Evanilda Nancassa (Portugal), Jie Shi (China) and Aditya Saraf (India) will engage in targeted and thorough market research to identify new stockists and distributors for LINIAN. Dr Paul Ferri explained more: ‘Working with LINIAN is a great opportunity for our students to experience first-hand what it’s like to find solutions in a real company with a live internationalisation project. We have evidence that potential employers are keen to hear about students’ experiences of working on IMS projects particularly in relation to transferable skills. I know from experience gained over the last couple of years that participating companies in the IMS programme value having access to the student resource to help them address their own particular issues with internationalisation’.
